Tips for Court Library Job Seekers
This was a very interesting as well as informative publication put out by the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). It offers various tips for those seeking jobs as Court Librarians. Many of the tips given here are valuable for other areas of Librarianship and for job seekers in any field.
What I found most interesting about this publication was the fact that sending a one page resume is discouraged for Court Library job seekers. This is a true contradiction to what I’ve learned about sending resumes. I’ve always been told no more than two pages, however one page is always best because the second page of a resume rarely gets looked at. But the thinking on this is changing.
