I hold an MLIS with a concentration of Archives and Preservation and a BA in History with concentrations in Colonial American History and Popular Culture with a minor in Information Studies both from the University of South Carolina. I currently work as an Assistant Archivist mostly working with Digital files and Metadata in Washington, D.C. In addition to my work I have been a virtual volunteer for INALJ and Hiring Librarians.

At Hiring Librarians I am a Transcriber. At INALJ I have held several positions. I started as the Head Editor of West Virginia. With West Virginia being a great starting state I was looking for something with a bit more job traffic and transferred to Head Editor of Maryland. From there I applied to be a Volunteer Coordinator and headed the position of Associates and Assistants for the other jobs of INALJ. After a reorganization and transition of the INALJ workload I chose to continue on as a Volunteer Coordinator and stay with the Maryland page as a Senior Assistant. I currently am moving up to the CIO position of INALJ and will continue on as a Senior Assistant for the Maryland page. You can follow my page on twitter @INALJMaryland or my personal twitter account @archpresj.

I have learned a lot during my experiences and made lots of great connections through INALJ.
