\"JJ\"<\/a>Naomi:<\/b>\u00a0 How did you find your current job?
\nJJ:<\/b>\u00a0 My job was posted on INALJ<\/a> as well as alajoblist<\/a>.\u00a0 Admittedly, I saw it on the alajoblist first.<\/p>\n

Naomi:<\/b>\u00a0 Favorite library you have been to?
\nJJ:<\/b>\u00a0 I adore the British Library<\/a> but keep in mind that I spent a few glorious weeks there on and off over the years doing research.<\/p>\n

Naomi:<\/b>\u00a0 Favorite book?
\nJJ:<\/b>\u00a0 Just one?! *wails* I just finished Gulp<\/em> by Mary Roach and I loved it.\u00a0 Favorite book of all time? Too many to count!<\/p>\n

Naomi:<\/b>\u00a0 Favorite thing about libraries\/ library technology?
\nJJ:<\/b>\u00a0 Being able to access and learn all the things!<\/p>\n

Naomi:<\/b>\u00a0 Any websites or feeds or blogs we should be following?
\nJJ:<\/b>\u00a0 Profhacker<\/a><\/p>\n

Naomi:<\/b>\u00a0 Best piece of job hunting advice?
\nJJ:<\/b>\u00a0 Don’t be afraid to ask for advice from other job hunters and have other people look at your materials.\u00a0 Be consistent across the spectrum – if you have a linkedin<\/a>, it should be a mirror image of your resume or CV – in this tight job market, employers do look at it.<\/p>\n

JJ is now an Instruction and Research Services Librarian at Wichita State University.\u00a0 In her previous career, she was an adjunct professor of English, Literature, and Humanities.\u00a0 She has circumnavigated the globe in one summer, rides a motorcycle, and has a deep addiction to black loose leaf tea.\u00a0 In her off hours, she builds Star Wars Lego sets, needlepoints, and plays video games across multiple platforms.<\/i><\/p>\n
