Brian Mathews, who blogs as the Ubiquitous Librarian<\/a> for the Chronicle of Higher Education and who is also Associate Dean for Learning & Outreach at Virginia Tech has a must read new white paper entitled “Think Like a Start-Up: a White Paper”<\/a>. I think it is well worth reading the whole paper (and it is wonderfully illustrated as well) and so I don’t want to sum it up or quote directly as I highly recommend you read it. But the advice about asking big questions was something I found I could apply to my work, my husband’s business and INALJ \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Brian is working on putting together a free webinar about a recent trip to silicon valley and will talk about lessons learned that can be applied to libraries.
