Common interview questions

dudat1I found this great web site with the 50 MostCommonInterviewQuestions. Lately I’ve been to quite a few interviews and each time before the interview I would go over these questions.  Almost 90% of questions I’ve got asked on the interview are on this list. I found it very helpful so I wanted to share that with you.

Every questions is accompanied with the guidelines about what the interviewer is looking for.  There are examples of what to highlight and what to avoid when answering particular question. This site also highlights how same question can be asked in different ways. As I go through question, I try to think of appropriate example(s) from my personal experience. More elaborate examples I also have written down, so over time I have a little collection of my personal examples. It really helps thinking about my accomplishments in context of the specific interview question.

Before the interview I will go over these questions and answers since it gives me opportunity to fine tune my answers and adjust them based on the job I am interviewing for. This process helps with my interview anxiety as well. Going through this process before the interview helps me feel prepared and relaxed.
